Over the course of a year I was commissioned by Cecil Sharp House to produce six handprinted signs that responded to the theme of ‘folk’, as well as to elements of their collection and archive.
Initially intended to be reproduced as covers on their quarterly programme of events catalogue, they invited me to exhibit the series of signs in a solo-exhibition entitled ‘Folk’, installed for the 2023 year.
